Let's Communicate!

Hey students! This is an example blog for my Practical Communications class.

In this space I can share my views on pretty much anything that interests me, from sports, movies, and hobbies to local events to my own political views. Anything and everything I care to discuss with anyone can be written down here.

Think of it as an online diary or journal (or if you'd rather, an online podium). That said, it is online, which means that anyone and everyone can view it. So if you don't want your innermost thoughts to become public knowledge, you might want to steer clear of a more personal blog for the time being and focus more on some specific interests or hobbies.

Of course, it's not just a place for typing. You can also post pictures here, either individually or to go along with your post (see the pic at the top of this post, for example). And you can even post videos. Check out this video of some Maize Quirks! performers:

Or you can even link to another webpage. Click on the link to check out this excellent video discussing the power of blogs: Blogs in Plain English.

And all is not complete without a little bit of feedback. That's how we know that communication has occurred. I would like everyone on this page to leave at least one comment on at least one of the following statements:

1) Wonder Woman '84 was an awesome movie that everyone should go see.

2) We should eliminate political parties so that people can just focus on the issues for each candidate.

3) Maize South should have off-campus lunch.

4) Dogs are over-rated. Cats are much better.

Well, that's about it ... oh, and don't forget to add your tags so others can find your blog!
